Electrophysiology Fellows-in-Training from across the globe will have the opportunity to participate in a friendly, non-CME competition. Based on the US National Science Bowl, an expert team of EPs have prepared quiz questions covering the following topics:
- Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (incl. device interrogation strips)
- Basic Electrophysiology
- Imaging and Cardiac Mapping (Incl. X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, E&M maps
- Clinical Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation (Incl. Heart Failure, Radio-frequency ablation and Cryo-ablation)
- Electrograms and more
- Clinical Trials
To qualify, EP Fellows-in-Training will be asked to complete a timed and online pre-test. Teams will be assembled in to 16 Regions, representing teams from across the globe. Each team will have 3 participants + 1 backup.
How to Participate
The online pre-test will be available as of February 3 and available until March 17. To participate in the pre-test, please email email@example.com to request the link or access via a separate email invitation from HRS.
The teams will compete in the Quarterfinals on Wednesday, May 10 and the Top 8 teams will continue on to the Semifinals and Finals on Thursday, May 11. The sessions will be held at the HRS Scientific Sessions in the HRS EPicenter in the Exhibit Hall.
