Heart Rhythm 2018 Scholarship Opportunity

The Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of scholarships to qualifying individuals to attend the Heart Rhythm Society’s 39th Annual Scientific Sessions taking place May 9 – 12 in Boston, MA. The scholarship covers general registration for Scientific Sessions, airfare, hotel, and ground transportation.*

  • Must be a CCEP Fellow-in-Training in the final year of training of a two-year program
  • Must be a member of HRS or have a pending membership application (fellows can join for free at www.HRSonline.org/membership)
  • You must not be receiving support to attend Scientific Sessions from other industry sources

The call for applications will begin at 8:00 am PDT/11:00 am EDT on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Your application will be time-stamped as soon as it is submitted. Scholarships will be awarded to qualifying individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. The application site will close as soon as the quota has been reached. Awards will be announced on or before February 20, 2018.

*Registration, air transportation, and lodging will be arranged by HRS. An upgrade to Premier Registration will be available for an additional $200 (Premier registration is not included in the scholarship). Mileage and ground transportation will be expensed and reimbursed post-event (save receipts). Food is not a covered expense. However, most meals are provided during the many Fellows events during the meeting.

Scholarships to the HRS 39th Annual Scientific Sessions are provided by an educational grant from Boston Scientific Corporation. A report of value for each award, up to $2,500, will be forwarded to CMS to comply with Physician Payments Sunshine Act requirements.
