Beacons at Heart Rhythm 2019

Image of the beacon chip

If you are attending Heart Rhythm 2019 in San Francisco, you may notice a small rectangular object on the back of your badge. The object, a beacon, can be read by receivers located throughout Moscone Center and in the Exhibit Hall.

This will be the second year the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) utilizes beacon technology to assist in planning the meetings of tomorrow. Every session room within Moscone Center, including networking lounges and other areas such as Hyde Park, are set up with receivers to track attendee movements in and out of sessions. For onsite credit claiming purposes, the sessions you have attended for 15 minutes or more will prepopulate in your credit cart. Additionally, attendees have access to their dashboard in the mobile app, where they can see and track sessions and exhibit booths they have attended or visited.
