Previously known as the Lead and Device Management Summit, this year’s program will focus on practical aspects of device implantation, extraction, and troubleshooting. Experts will cover practical aspects of His bundle lead implantation, leadless pacemaker placement, and CS lead and LV endocardial lead implantation. Each attendee will test their skills in recognition and device management again questions selected by the experts to test their skills in the field.
Session Description: This is a practical approach reviewing how to implant leads and leadless pacemakers in the His bundle, in any site in the right ventricle and in the left ventricle. This session will consist not only of lectures but also videos that go step by step into the implantation technique.
Session Description: Patient based analysis and clinical examples of how to manage patients with "superfluous leads" and how to understand and troubleshoot difficult anatomy for lead extraction. A case based review of risks, benefits and management of tough clinical problems will be reviewed.
Session Description: This will consist of two series. First, it will consist of a review of the hemodynamics of CRT and a review of animal and basic studies of the mechanisms of CRT. Second we will do a Device Jeopardy which will consist of an opportunity for attendees to compare their knowledge of devices with a panel of international experts.
