Electrophysiology Fellows-in-Training from across the globe will have the opportunity to participate in a friendly, non-CME competition. Based on the US National Science Bowl, an expert team of EPs have prepared quiz questions covering the following topics:
  • Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (incl. device interrogation strips)
  • Basic Electrophysiology
  • Imaging and Cardiac Mapping (Incl. X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, E&M maps
  • Clinical Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation (Incl. Heart Failure, Radio-frequency ablation and Cryo-ablation)
  • Electrograms and more
  • Clinical Trials

The teams will compete in the Quarterfinals on Wednesday, May 9 and the top teams will continue on to the Semifinals and Finals on Thursday, May 10. The sessions will be held at the HRS Scientific Sessions in the HRS EPicenter in the Exhibit Hall.

How to Participate

To qualify, EP Fellows-in-Training will complete a timed and online pre-test. Teams will be assembled in to regions, representing teams from across the globe. Each team will have 3 participants + 1 alternate.
