Heart Rhythm Bowl 2020

Electrophysiology Fellows-in-Training from across the globe will have the opportunity to participate in a friendly, non-CME competition. Based on the US National Science Bowl, an expert team of EPs have prepared quiz questions covering the following topics:

  • Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices (incl. device interrogation strips)
  • Basic Electrophysiology
  • EP History
  • Imaging and Cardiac Mapping (incl. X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, E&M maps)
  • Clinical Electrophysiology and Catheter Ablation (incl. heart failure, radio-frequency ablation and cryo-ablation)
  • Electrograms
  • Clinical Trials and more

The teams will compete in the Semifinals on Wednesday, May 6 and the top teams will continue to the Finals on Thursday, May 7. The sessions will be held in Room 20D on level 2 of the convention center.

How to Participate

To qualify, EP Fellows-in-Training will complete a timed online pre-test. Teams will be assembled into regions, representing teams from across the globe. Each team will have 3 participants + 1 alternate.
