The Allied Professionals Program will be submitted to offer ASRT/ARRT credit for select sessions at Heart Rhythm 2018. The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) requires meeting participants attend the entire session as approved in order to earn Continuing Education (CE) credit.
Allied Professionals Forums
The Allied Professional (AP) Forums promote quality education for allied professionals and inspire attendees to expand scientific discovery and apply it to their daily practice. Three complimentary forums will be offered on Wednesday, May 9:
Session Description: This day long forum focused on the care of patients with CIEDS including indications, follow up, trouble shooting, best practices, complications, and remote monitoring.
Session Description: To review arrhythmia mechanisms and mapping/ablation strategies in patients with SVT, atrial fibrillation/flutter, and ventricular arrhythmias for the EP professional.
Session Description: This day long forum will focus on the care of the arrhythmia patient by the AHP from a multidisciplinary perspective. Targeted to AHP (PAs, NPs, genetics counselors, CRNAs, PharmDs) who work in a variety of settings including EP lab, hospital, and office.
Hands On Educational Session (Non-CME Activity)

This session gives you the opportunity to supplement the case studies and topics from the Allied Professionals Forums with engaging, tactile training on industry’s latest technology and therapies. The Hands-On Educational Session allows allied professionals to meet with industry representatives and have the opportunity for one-on-one education on the latest technology and therapies in a less formal setting.
This year the Hands-On Session will feature “Meet the Authors”. Meet the Authors are featured abstract presentations, discussed at the Hands-On Educational Session. Research presented may be related to Hands-On demonstrations and AP curriculum. Light refreshments will also be provided to session attendees at this time.
